Beyond his military service, Josh brings years of experience in financial planning and investment management. Before joining Aptus, he created a financial planning company providing pro bono financial planning services to veterans.
Currently in the process of completing an M.S. in Financial Planning, Josh successfully passed the Series 65. In addition, he has made substantial progress toward the CHARTERED ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT ANALYST (CAIA), CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST® (CFA®), and will be taking the CFP board exam in the spring of 2023 to earn the use of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation.
Josh currently lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Buse. They enjoy traveling within the States and abroad to visit their family in Turkey. He’s an avid volunteer, including aiding with natural disaster relief, beach cleanups, teaching students about entrepreneurship, and more.
